Optimising Illustrations Printed on Foil for Wrapping Chocolates

Project: Illustrations for wrapping chocolates.

Solution: Using ink brushes, the contrast and identification of elements present in the design was improved. The fading was eliminated, and spot colours were selected. In the new versions, the packaging has also been improved by other agencies.

Challenge: Until then, the illustrations had simulated drawings in coloured pencil. Given the complexity of the illustrations and the lack of contrast in foil wrapping, when printed, many of the details which had been approved were no longer visible, thereby changing the end result.
